About Denman Island
For those not yet acquainted with Denman Island, the Arts Centre Location page will help you to find where we are and how to get here.
DENMANISLAND.COM has lots of good information about the Denman Island community, including a free, downloadable tourist brochure.
When you visit Denman Island, there are a few things you should know.
- Be sure to bring a flashlight - it's dark at night!
- There is an ATM machine at the Denman Island General store
- Bring any pharmaceuticals you may need, as there is no drugstore on the island.
The General Store sells some basics such as aspirin and sunscreen, but choices are limited. - The General Store has a gas pump, but no service station
- There is a medical clinic located in the downtown area
Food and Services
If you are staying at a B&B, your breakfast will probably be included.
For lunches and light dinners, there are a few cafes withing walking distance of the Arts Centre:
- Cafe on the Rock
- The Denman Island Bakery and Cafe
- The Denman Island Guest House
- Rawganique
For those with special dietary needs, please note that shopping is somewhat limited.
Accommodations
