About Denman Island

When you visit Denman Island, there are a few things you should know.
- Be sure to bring a flashlight - it's dark at night!
- There is an ATM machine at the Denman Island General store
- Bring any pharmaceuticals you may need, as there is no drugstore on the island.
The General Store sells some basics such as aspirin and sunscreen, but choices are limited. - The General Store has a gas pump, but no service station
- There is a medical clinic located in the downtown area
Food and Services
If you are staying at a B&B, your breakfast will probably be included.
For lunches and light dinners, there are a few cafes within walking distance of the Arts Centre:
- Cafe on the Rock
- The Island Times Café
- Kaffe Klatsch at the Denman Island Guest House
- The Saturday Market at the Recycling Centre (9:30 - 12:30)
For those with special dietary needs, please note that shopping is somewhat limited.
Accommodations
Denman Island has a number of B&B's that offer comfortable accommodation at a reasonable cost. Visit any of the websites listed below for information and bookings.
