Course Times: 9:30 - 3:30
Course Description: The sequence of events that traditionally characterizes narrative has led to the requirement of plot unfolding in a more or less linear forward movement.
But are there other ways to develop narrative? What makes a narrative? Is it possible to develop momentum without plot and suspense? Are there other ways to keep a reader "hooked"?
The instructor will provide handouts.
Students need to bring 12 copies of a short piece of your own narrative writing. Please enquire for details.
