Felt Baubles and Beads

Discover the magic of felting with Deb Dumka. Make beads, baubles, ropes and sheets, from wool and other animal fibre by hand rolling into compact, solid forms. Students will make a colourful, lightweight necklace with glass and other beads and metal findings.

Felt – Out of Context

Using fleece, roving and yarn, explore a variety of textile techniques not traditionally rendered in felt: embroidery, crochet, appliqué, hand weaving.

Mike Rapati offers his popular intro workshop, teaching the versatility of cement for making sculpture of any size. Learn to use cement and admixtures to get a stiff, clay-like consistency to be added to sculptures like clay, plus how to design and build reinforced armatures.
