The Denman Island Arts Centre is situated in the heart of the downtown Denman Island, within walking distance of the Ferry terminal, and conveniently located close to shops and cafes. The Main Studio is available for rent Monday through Thursday for arts related events, exhibitions, and studio groups. For information or bookings
Rates
Basic rate:All day use - $50.
One time use, up to 3 hours:$25.
Available times: Morning (before noon), Afternoon, or Evening (after 6 PM)
On-going use for studio/user groups:$45 per month - weekly use, up to 3 hrs.
$50. cleaning deposit may be required, for high impact activities.
$10. waste disposal fee/studio fee may be charged for certain activities or uses.

The Main Studio
The main studio is a 15 x 30 classroom/studio space, equipped with tables, chairs and easels. It has natural light as well as incandescent track lighting. Weather permitting, use can extend to the 900 square foot covered, wrap-around porch, which has skylights and a charming view.
The studio is equipped with:
- folding tables (30" x 72")
- stacking chairs
- studio easels
- Masonite boards
- good lighting
- white board and pens
- extension cords
The Covered Porch
The large, wrap-around verandah offers an additional space for sketching or other outdoor activities. Covered for protection from the weather, with village and ocean views.
The Back Room
Rental of the Main Studio includes use of the Back Room, which contains a large sink. The kitchen facilities include a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dishes.
Please note that storage facilities are not available for long term use.
Capacity:The main studio is appropriate for classes and workshops up to 16 people if seated at tables. For lectures and other events, the main floor can accommodate up to 25 people.
