Course Times: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon

Course Description:Beading as wearable art continues with two earring variations - round-topped and Huichol mandala in the first two sessions and wearable beaded and cloth pouch in the last two weeks.

New students with some beading experience are welcome. All materials provided. Specialty beads will be available for purchase.

Materials:

The instructor will provide basic beading materials – needles, backings, hardware, some beads, etc.

Students are encouraged to bring their own beads and things as well.

LeeAndra Jacobs was born in Boston, Massachusetts during the glorious Autumn of 1958.

Almost as soon as adultly possible, she moved to California and began working in a law firm in Oakland. After five years, she freed herself from the paycheck and entered the world of “entrepreneur-real” living.

A life long love of beads and the myriad ways one could fashion with them filled her creative channel and she was away! The colour palette and combination potential being endless, she still finds bead creation enthralling twenty-one years later. She does wonder how long she’ll be able to thread the micro-eyed beading needle! By then she may have a career in radio…
